Where it started
The tractor that hauls Arniston’s boats in and out of the surf broke down for good, and the fishermen of Kassiesbaai were left pushing boats weighing over a ton by hand. We made it our mission to help.
Through the Vang Hulle Foundation, with our partners and everyone who bought merch, donated or shared a post, we raised R50 000. On Saturday 3 October we drove out to Arniston and handed it over to the Arniston Tractor Fund in person. Then we spent the afternoon with the community: music on the decks, prizes, and a lot of people in one place.
Fishing builds stronger communities.
Mission complete. Thank you to every partner, everyone who bought a hoodie, donated or shared a post, and the Kassiesbaai community for welcoming us. This is what Vang Hulle is about.
